THE SOMERSET ARMS SUMMER BBQ

Details: We would like to invite you to a BBQ in our lovely gardens! With July promising to be a hot month, we thought it would be a good opportunity to invite our locals (and non locals) to BBQ so we can get to meet you all and so you can have the chance to see our fantastic changes we are making. There will be free burgers and hotdogs. We will also have facepainting for the children and a bouncy castle. Along with a live band, Pimms tent,our finest Ales and non-alcoholic cocktails, it is bound to be an eventful day!

Please note that it is only the burgers and hotdogs that are free of charge, all drinks are to be purchased through the bar or the tents outside. 

 

 

 

 

FARMERS/CRAFT MARKET

 

 

This is going to be our one event that we want to make our biggest event! We will be holding a Farmers/Craft Market on the first and third Saturday of every month from 12pm – 4pm.  In order for our market to be a success we need all our local entrepreneurs to step forward and run a stall, if it’s Homemade /Handmade it’s welcome! The idea of hosting a Farmers market along with a Craft Market is to be able to have something for everyone, with locally sourced produce. Please let’s try and make our first one a great success and support each other at the same time. We will also be looking for somebody to set up a few kids activity stalls and face painting, so if you have any ideas and fancy making some pocket money, then sign up for a stall J

 

We will also be hosting an OPEN MIC at this event, so if you are musically gifted, please bring along your instrument and join us on our stage!
